I asked my followers on Instagram<\/a> which color combination they’d prefer to see for my next design. And it was clear: Red!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I was hoping to create the design I had in mind, but the wire frames I ordered from Brazil didn’t arrive before I started. (My new frames did arrive a few weeks ago, which means, I will publish a new blog post about these frames soon.) So I created this samba costume with a head frame by Geckomeister on Etsy. The frames are delicately made and are super lightweight. It’s a classic design any passista should have in their personal collection. Another twist to this costume is the bright orange details I added from top to bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
